Welder
Responsibilities
- Mainly perform welding using process 135 (MAG).
- Perform welding using process 141 (TIG) as required.
- Weld piping from DN 27 to DN 700, with thicknesses up to 10 mm.
- Carry out welding operations using a welding positioner/rotator.
- Prepare welds for non-destructive testing (NDT): radiographic testing, penetrant testing and magnetic particle testing.
- Inspect weld quality and comply with quality and safety requirements.
Skills
- Proficiency in welding processes 135 (MAG) and 141 (TIG).
- Proficiency in welding using a welding positioner/rotator.
- Good knowledge of industrial pipe welding.
- Ability to work with different diameters and thicknesses.
- Good ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Knowledge of requirements related to radiographic testing and non-destructive testing (NDT).
Requirements
- Proven experience as an industrial welder.
- Valid 141 welding qualification is essential.
- Significant experience with process 135.
- Experience in welding piping subject to radiographic testing.
- Ability to work independently with rigor and precision.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team with pipefitters.
- Strict compliance with safety instructions and quality requirements.
